Instruction in traditional Shotokan karate. Colorado Budokan offers karate training classes for all ages and skill levels - from children to adults, beginners to advanced practitioners.
Colorado Budokan has been a staple in the Denver Metro Martial Arts community for over 40 years and provides an outstanding group of karate instructors from a wide range of backgrounds. They include United States National Karate Federation Team members, certified referees and judges, numerous National and International Championship medalists, and sports medicine professionals and fitness trainers.
Sensei Akemi is experienced in Shotokan, Ryuei Ryu, Goju Ryu and Shito Ryu kata for sport competition (AAU Karate, USA Karate & World Karate Federation rules). Private lessons are available upon request for kata-specific instruction or general training.
